The Chevron Project was a turnaround project for which we supplied 1 off 36” double offset high performance butterfly valve for cooling water service. Materials were WCB/316. The high performance valve was required urgently for shutdown (within 4 weeks) to allow cleaning during the turnaround window. We sourced the high performance butterfly valve using our strategic partners and delivered to Chevron within 2 weeks allowing them to meet their tight deadline.
Outcome
Chevron commended Frenstar on our fast track performance in the supply of this large butterfly valve within a tight deadline. The valve was installed in October 2019 and we have received confirmation that Chevron are satisfied with performance.
