Check Valves

Frenstar valves manufacture and supply wafer check valves to the process and energy industries.

The check valve is a non-return valve which is designed to prevent backflow. Fluid flowing in the required direction opens the valve, while reverse/backflow closes the valve and prevents flow in the non-required direction.

Gate Valves

Frenstar valves manufacture and supply gate valves to the process and energy industries.

The gate valve is a multi-turn general service valve. Primarily for on/off, non-throttling services. The off/on flow control of a gate valve is achieved by moving a gate into or out of the fluid-flow stream.

The gate valve shuts off flow by forcing the gate against the valve body seating surfaces, which creates a pressure-tight seal in both directions.

Globe Valve

Frenstar valves manufacture and supply globe valves to the process and energy industries.

A Globe valves is a linear motion valve and are primarily designed to stop, start and regulate flow. The disk of a Globe valve can be totally removed from the flowpath or it can completely close the flowpath.

Conventional Globe valves may be used for isolation and throttling services. System pressure on the disc is transferred onto the stem therefore acceptable size limit for these valves is 12”. There are three basic body designs for Globe valves: Tee Pattern or Z-body, Angle Pattern and Wye Pattern or Y-body body.

DBB/SBB /Needle Valves

Frenstar valves manufacture and supply ball and needle valves to the process and energy industries in various configurations and diameters, integral and split body double block & bleed versions & single block & bleed plus needle for instrumentation.

Damper Valves

Frenstar valves manufacture and supply damper valves to the process and energy industries for standard & high temperature service such as gas exhaust.

Butterfly dampers are usually made for on/off or regulating air & gas applications and provide a cost effective option for control and isolation.

Butterfly dampers are typically seat less alternatively Frenstar can make the disc so that it makes contact with a metal plate. Soft braided tight sealing options are available on request.
