About BP Angola Block 18: Greater Plutonio 

Block 18, an area of 5,000 sq km in water depths of 500 – 1,600 metres. Block 18 is located in the Angolan offshore, 160 miles northwest of Luanda. Eight discoveries were made in this block, of which the fields Galio, Cromio, Cobalto, Paladio, and Plutonio make up the first producing development known as Greater Plutonio.

Frenstar has supplied Butterfly valves since 2003 to BP Angola.

About BP Azerbaijan – Shah Deniz / Azeri-Chirag

The Shah Deniz (SD) field was discovered in 1999. It is one of the world’s largest gas-condensate fields. It is located on the deep water shelf of the Caspian Sea, 70km south-east of Baku, in water depths ranging from 50 to 500 m. Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) field located about 100km east of Baku is the largest oilfield in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian basin.

Frenstar has supplied Butterfly valves since 2002 to BP Azerbaijan.

About BP Valhall redevelopment

The Valhall field complex has six separate manned platforms: quarters; drilling; production; wellheads; water injection. In addition it has two unmanned flank platforms, each approximately six kilometres from the main facilities. Discovered in 1975, first production from the Valhall field came in 1982. The redevelopment project is expected to extend production from the field to 2050.  

Frenstar has supplied Butterfly valves since 2009 to BP NCS / UKCS.
