McIntyre’s Tools & Equipment has 3 stores throughout Northern Ireland in Kilrea, Dungannon and Belfast.
A family business by nature, the company has long established relationships with major businesses throughout NI. Distributing to an ever-growing network of wholesale, trade and retail customers throughout the north, we give our customers access to world renowned tool and equipment brands.
In addition, our service and repair centre, ensures that we provide a consistent and complete sales experience, including aftersales and ongoing support for product parts and servicing.
MacGen Power Generation Ltd was established in 1998 in Kilrea, Northern Ireland. Now a leading UK power generation specialist, MacGen stock an extensive range of generators from 2.7kVA upward, as well as parts and spares to suit. The range includes openskid, super-silenced or containerised models, all of which are compliant with European standards.
MacGen supply a wide range of markets including sports events and facilities, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, supermarkets, shopping centres, event management services, office buildings, quarries, waste management services, construction, hotels, restaurants/public houses and agriculture.
The Jefferson Professional Tools & Equipment brand was founded 2003 in response to growing demand for reliable, industry focused products in Ireland & the UK. The globally sourced product range now incorporates almost 2000 product lines across a range of product categories and is experiencing rapid growth as a result of the brands success in delivering great products and a competitive price.
The brand is wholesale-only, giving our carefully selected Jefferson agents sole management of end-user sales opportunities. Jefferson supply trade, engineering, manufacturing, automotive, agricultural, construction and many more industries.
Connexus International was born from first hand experience of the ongoing and relentless difficulties faced by the manufacturing sector associated with the recruitment and retention of skilled and semi-skilled staff. Based in Mid Ulster, the team have extensive experience in the Manufacturing industry, Recruitment and Human Resources.
Connexus International provides staffing solutions to companies in the UK and Ireland, recruiting talented staff from India, Philippines and beyond where these valued skills are readily available.

Frenstar Valves was established in 1977 and acquired by the McIntyre Group in 2012. The Frenstar head office is located at Belfast Port, Northern Ireland. The company delivers small, medium and large butterfly valve projects to on and offshore facilities. With immediate stock available, we can provide a rapid response to customer requirements.
Employing specialists in sourcing and hard-to-find valves, Frenstar supply certified and compliant valves, to a vast portfolio of global clients. Frenstar supplies the oil & gas, refinery, FPSO, petrochemical, water & waste water treatment, process & chemicals, pharmaceutical, power and fertiliser industries.
